How to Claim Your Tickets

For Free Admission (Under 19): Even though entry is free, a time-slot ticket is still required for the Upper Belvedere. You must book a free "Youth" ticket online in advance to secure a spot. Be prepared to show an ID with proof of age at the entrance.

For All Other Concessions: Reduced-price tickets can be purchased online by selecting the appropriate category (e.g., Student, Senior). You must bring a valid ID or proof of eligibility (student card, disability card, etc.) with you on the day of your visit and present it at the entrance along with your ticket.

Concessions FAQ

Your questions on discounts

Do I need to book a ticket for my baby?
Yes. All visitors, including infants and children under 19, require a valid (free) time-slot ticket for entry to the Upper Belvedere.
I am a student from outside the EU. Do I get a discount?
Yes, the student discount for visitors up to age 26 applies to students from all countries, as long as you have a valid student ID with a photo and expiration date.
Are there any free admission days for the general public?
Unlike some other museums in Vienna, the Belvedere does not currently offer a regular free admission day for all visitors.
What happens if I forget my proof of eligibility?
If you cannot provide valid proof for your reduced or free ticket, you may be required to pay the difference for a full-price ticket at the entrance.
